I wonder who has seen us more times than anyone else?

Hey everyone it's Pat here. We are currently on our way to Philly for the show at the TLA tomorrow which I am very excited for. I have been laying in my bunk thinking about all the great times we have had on the road meeting people and hanging out after shows. It has been insane seeing people keep coming back to see us a few times a year. So I really want to see what you guys think of all the show's we have played, tours we have been on and times we have had a chance to talk or at least take a picture. In the comments tell me YOUR personal favorite moment you have had with any of us in the band or a personal favorite show so far! Cant wait to read what you have to say,

Love,
Pat

SEVEN times<3

I first heard about you guys in 2007 through Paramore Fans message board. I was looking in the other music section and it said The Maine..I was like I've never heard of them before so I went to the thread and read what people had to say. I listened to The Way We Talk on youtube and I loved it. I literally went right to iTunes and purchased the EP. I was finally able to see you guys live for the first time on The Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour. The date was August 3, 2008 in Richmond, VA. I remember when you guys came on stage I was so excited. There where a few girls in front of me that were singing along, but for the most part not many people knew who you guys were. I was surprised by that, but after the show there were so many people buying CSWS and showing a great response to you guys! I remember you were still in the van and I have a video from after the show. The van was clean, surprise surprise, haha. I was so happy that I was able to meet everyone in the band and was able to talk to everyone for as long as I wanted. You guys were absolutley some of the sweetest people I had ever met. My love for you guys only continued to grow after that show. I was able to miss school (thanks mom and dad) to see you guys on the first night of The Compromising... Tour in Norfolk, VA on October 9, 2008. I am honestly not a huge Mayday or ATL fan, so you guys were the main (no pun intended, haha) reason I went to that show. I got early entry to the venue, just so I could be front row for you guys..as soon as you were finished playing I left the crowd :/ After the show I once again was able to meet and talk to everyone. Pat was definitely my favorite that night. He was being so hilarious and sweet <3 After the Compromising tour was over you guys did a few headlining shows with Fotograph. You guys fortunately came back to Richmond, VA on November 30, 2008. When I found out you guys were going to be headlining I freaked out. I once again missed school for you guys..don't worry, I still passed all my classes, haha. My cousin and I put together a gift bag to bring you guys. We drew all of your faces on it and filled it with snacks and other necessary items to survive touring. You guys were so appreciative and I was glad you all enjoyed your gift. There were still not many people at the show so I was able to be front row for it! It was so intimate, but at the same time I could tell you guys were becoming more and more popular because everyone that was there was screaming the words to all of your songs. I was genuinely happy for you guys :) After a short break you guys came back to Harrisonburg, VA on The Secret Valentine Tour on February 12, 2009. A new year = a new The Maine?? ...so I thought. At this show it was extremely overcrowded with thousands of Travis Clark fans and the crowd was insane. I was sick but I stuck it out for you guys. I was quite a few rows back, so I was kind of disappointed. During your performance I was amazed at how the crowd responded. Since I had just seen you guys in a small venue with a small crowd, I was not expecting every person at this show to know your songs, but they did! It was even more surprising because shows hardly ever come to Harrisonburg. The crowd response was great, but I was sort of unsure if you guys still cared about fans (silly me i know) I thought John was acting different on stage, everyone in the band had different haircuts, I was like WTF is going on! Then after the show John was literally unreachable. I could not even have the chance to talk to him. There were thousands of girls waiting to talk to him. Everyone else seemed really busy too. Overall wasn't the be best experience, I really thought I was loosing you guys. Even though I was disappointed (it's not your guys' fault) I think I was just more upset because your fan base had grown so much...and to be honest I think I was jealous that I wasn't the only one that knew about you guys! Afterwards I realized I was being so selfish and I got over it. This one show was not going to ruin my love for you guys! So of course I came out to the next show which was April 23, 2009 in Richmond, VA for the AP Tour. When I found out you guys were going to be one of the headliners of this big tour I was soooo happy and excited for you guys. I knew what was coming next, so I prepared myself...you guys started traveling in a tour bus! :) It was so strange seeing videos and pictures of you guys on the bus, but I knew you guys were finally going to be able to receive the rest and comfort you deserved while out on the road. This show was a complete 180 from the previous. Yes the crowd was big, yes more people knew you guys, but no I wasn't upset about it. I realized that for you guys to achieve your goal of touring and making music for a living you must progress and gain more fans. I was no longer upset, more proud in a way. You guys were living your dream and it felt amazing to be apart of it and be one of the fortunate ones that got to watch you guys grow and start from nothing and become something. After the show, of course I wasn't able to meet john, it's like trying to meet the president...almost impossible, haha. So I spent my time having long conversations with Pat, Garrett, and Kennedy. You guys were so sweet and it made me feel bad for thinking negative things about you guys at the last show. I could not find Jared anywhere so after the conversations were done and the pictures were taken I had to leave! Then came the Warped Tour! I was so glad you guys were headlining the whole thing so I was able to see you guys! The Virginia Beach, VA date was July 22, 2009. I was able to do catering that year and Pat, Garret, and Max came through the line. It was so cute to see you guys outside of playing a show. You guys were still incredibly sweet and polite people. Pat and Max were making jokes the whole time and it was so adorable :) You guys were the last band to play that night and you all couldn't express how much you appreciated everyone sticking around for your performance..I mean why wouldn't we? Haha. I was so lucky I got front row at warped for your set. There were so many people, but it was amazing to see you guys up close and personal again. After Warped and practically two years of seeing you guys every couple of months, I had to wait an entire year to see you all again. You have no clue how hard that was for me, haha. I wasn't able to see you guys on tour with BLG in the fall because I was so busy with my senior year of high school and applying for colleges..it was crazy. It was the first show that you guys have played in VA that I had missed. I have made it to every single one before that, so it was sad to break a tradition. I believe you guys did one more short tour before or after you finished recording B&W and I couldn't make it to that one either. Needless to say, by the time your An Evening With The Maine tour rolled around I was definitely ready. I pre-ordered B&W, purchased the ticket, and received early entry. Once I arrived to the show I was so antsy. I could hardly wait to get inside and see you all. Thanks to the early entry I was able to be front row again for the sow. I don't think I would have been any happier anywhere else. August 11, 2010. Three years I have been following you guys around, going to show. Three years later you guys have your own headliner!? I mean it is crazy. Each summer you guys have gotten bigger and bigger. Your performances have gotten better and better. I just have honestly no words to describe how happy I am at this point in your guys' career. You all deserve everything you have gotten and you all deserve to be so popular, and I hope you guys only continue to grow. Look what all you have accomplished in four short years..Think about where you guys could be in four more years. I love you all so much and I hope to see you guys on tour for the EIGHTH time with nevershoutnever :)

Texas<3

I haven't seen you a huge number of times, but the two times I have were amazing. The first time I saw you live was on Halloween 2009 when the OP tour and the Glamour Kills tour both played at Nokia Theater. It was by far the best concert of my life with so many bands at it. And then I saw you at six flags this summer. I met you at Six Flags because my friends and I had just gotten off the Titan and we saw you guys walking through the flash pass line. We got a picture and talked for a minute before you guys had to leave.

I came from australia to see them

Ive only seen the maine once as i live in australia :(
I went to america in april last year and realised they were playing the Ap tour. Myself and my sister begged our parentsto let us go and see them but we were going to be in new york so they let us fly down especially just to see them, so we flew down to washington for a night to see them it was the most amazing night of my life i got to meet the whloe band and jarred gave us a free poster.
the maine areeeeeeee my favourite band EVER :D:D
i wish i lived in america so i could see them whenever i wanted :(

10 times about to be 14 :)

I have been 10 times but soon to be 14. I have seen yall in once in Myrtle Beach,SC once in Charleston,SC once in Columbia,SC twice in Charlotte,NC once in Augusta,GA twice in Atlanta,GA and once in San Antonio,TX and Arlington TX. but tomorrow August 11 im seeing yall in Greensboro,NC and the next day in Atlanta,GA then on August 17th and 18th im seeing yall in Houston and Austin TX and that will make a TOTAL of 14. i would have to say my favorite time meeting yall was in Charleston SC cause me and my sister got to talk to everyone in the band for along time and then the best show experience was Columbia SC :)

Haha well I have seen you

Haha well I have seen you guys 8 times between Philly, Allentown, Bamboozle, and Six Flags. It's been a crazy ride.
I remember the first time I saw you guys with Boys Like Girls, Good Charlotte, and Metro Stable at Festival Pier. Close to no one knew who The Maine was, or so it seemed. I remember wishing I was closer up.. That was August 20th, 2008. The next time I saw you was October 11th, 2008 with All Time Low at the Croc Rock and I remember the crowd was INSANE. I wasn't able to stay in the pit the whole time, I thought I was going to pass out. The shows kept getting more and more hectic. Bamboozle 2009 was the worst, though. I honestly do not remember you guys even playing, all I remember was how badly I wanted to get out of the crowd, but I couldn't because I was in one of the first few rows and people were literally on top of me. But whatever. I survived :) and I'm glad I survived long enough to see you guys on August 5th, 2010 at the TLA because it was one of the best shows I've ever been to! My friend Sarah was called on stage to sing and after that, we all went crazy screaming lyrics in the way back of the venue. It is so awesome that you had Austin Gibbs as well as This Century on this tour and I loved pretty much every second of the show. Especially when Austin ordered me to touch his mustache :)

I don't think you guys understand how much your fans appreciate you and it is so awesome to see that you appreciate us in return! Keep doing what you do forever. Hahahaha

Three

I've seen yall live three times. soon to be 4th as of next friday :)
The first time i ever saw yall was october 18th 08, with all time low, mayday parade, and every avenue in orlando, it was the first concert i've ever been to. I've never gotten to meet every one of you, but at every show at least one of you would come out and greet us, and that always made my night.

I would have to say that the best memory i have of yall was warped tour at st. pete last year. My friends and I were absolutely exhausted but we really wanted to see yall perform, so we were on the side behind the fence that the security was in. haha, idk if that last part even made sense, but we werent in the pit, and it wasnt exactly a place that someone on stage would really notice. Buttttt... i specifically remember john turning to the side and waving and greeting us from the stage. That really made my day, yall noticing us like that. it just goes to show how much you all notice and care about your fans, and thats something that's hard to find.

Nashville TN

i have seen u guys 2 times the 1st time was on AP tour 09 at rocketown and the 2nd time was on OP tour 09 at rocketown and OP would have to be my fave one bc i got to hang out more with u pat and i had fun making the pumpkin i gave u guys but i had fun at both concerts and it wont be the last time im going to see u guys next time u come in town im going to come see u guys so come back to Nashville TN soon!!! haha

<3 tiffany :)

only once. :]

ive only seen you guys once. it was on april 18, 2010 in pensacola, fl with we the kings, stereo skyline, cartel, and artists vs poets. i hadn't really heard much of your music, only one or two songs, but i LOVED the show! i actually almost didn't go, because i didnt have a ticket or anything and my friends were about to leave my house and they realized they had an extra seat in the car so they asked if i wanted to go. it was the most fun i'd had in a loooong time. right when i got home, i bought cant stop wont stop.

my favorite part of the show was when john crowdsurfed. haha, my friend and i were right near the front, and he fell on us. it was crazyyy.

i dont know the next time ill get to see you guys, but i really hope its sometime soon!
have an amazing headliner!

love, kate

July 29th, 2010 <3

I've Only Seen You Once And I Couldn't Have Asked For A Better First Concert Experience. It Was Incredibly Amazing, Regardless Of The Fact That I Was Sleep Deprived And Hungry, And There Were A Lof Of Girls. But I Did Meet Some Nice People, That Was A Bonus.

Austin Gibbs And This Century Were Also Fantastic And So Sweet.

I'm Bummed That I Didn't Get Pictures With You Guys But Getting Autographs And Hugs Was Great.

I Can't Wait Til I Can See You In Concert Again. I Think I'll Make It A Goal Of Mine To See You Anytime Possible.

Love&Hugs!

TWO

I saw you guys play during warp tour 09 in Vancouver then this year in Seattle at the El Corazon on your headliner It was really an amazing concert you guy's can light up a stage even if the lights went out and it became pitch black. When I first met you guys which was in Seattle I was so excited you guy's are all so chill I hope Garrett likes the shirt I made him also Pat I love your stutter, Kennedy you are awesome , Jared is my guitar hero, and John if you only knew how much I idolize you thank you guy's for all your amazing music it has brightened up my LIFE

3 Times.

Well i have only seen you 3 times in 2 years, but i say thats good for a 15 year old who can't drive.
the first moment i saw your band i fell in love, it was in cleveland on the soundtrack of your summer tour with boys like girls. you guys were supposed to hang out after but didnt come so i didnt get to meet you then.
the next time has to be one of my favorites. another boys like girls tour this time it was the love drunk tour in columbus. it was special because it was my birthday present from my mother since she knows how much i love you guys she drove me to see you, im from zanesville ohio, this town is way to small to have any major tour come around. on the love drunk tour i got to meet you guys. unfortuantly i didnt get to meet jarred or kennedy. but meeting you pat, garrett and john was amazing. i rememeber since i got a meet n greet with blg i got into the venue early and garrett was on the stage i asked him to sign my ticket and hes like im going to get into trouble for this but i dont give a fuck, haha made my night. and my hugs from pat garrett and john later after the show <3
my last time i came to An evening with the maine in cleveland. by far that was one of the best concerts of my life. it was so hot in peabodys, i sweated more there then i do at my soccer conditioning and dood i sweat a lot there, i have to say people were passing out coming out of the pit that night, the whole silly band explaining to john made me laugh a alot. john said '' is that a dirty silly band on the floor there? i mean the shape of it, ha no its a clarinette. all you perverts where thinking something else.'' . i didnt get to take pictures with you guys but just meeting you guys and i got my hug from john again well that just made my life.

that will not be the last time i see you guys. im hoping a lot more when i get my licence here in a month.
i defffinatly will be telling my children about you guys when i get older.

GO ON TOUR AGAIN NEXT SUMMMER !!!

I saw you guys at the boys

I saw you guys at the boys like girls tour in november, & i just saw you again last night in philly on your headlining tour, & both times yous were amazing but my personal favorite was last night at your headlining tour. It was so much fun and you guys did an amazing job. You guys even stayed after to meet with the fans which I thought was really sweet. I enjoyed meeting all of you, you're all really nice, you signed my phone pat! <3

i'd have to say the secret

i'd have to say the secret valentine tour was the best show i've been to for you guys! me and my friend met john, kennedy, and jared. pat and garrett we couldnt find you! but you guys rocked it out. and bamboozle 2010 in new jersey that was so freakin awesome! <33333333333333

it will be 5 times!! :D

the money tour: this will have to be the first time ive ever seen yall. i had only knew yalls old songs and just a few from Can't Stop Won't Stop. i guess you can say i wasn't a big fan at the time, but after seeing you guys play that show was soo ahh-mazing! i just had to buy Can't Stop Won't Stop because i wanted to hear more from yall! :D i only got to meet you and john ohh that night but you guys were super nice and normal just like everyone else. and thats one reason why The Maine is my favorite band! :D

the AP tour: the 2nd time to see The Maine. the best part was that yall got to headline the houston show!! even tho i was unpatiently waiting to see yall, they saved the best for last! :D and i heard more songs from yall which made it even better. after the show me and my friends had to find all of you because we mad shirts that looked exacly like the shirts yall wore on the albun for Can't Stop Won't Stop but put lyrics from I Must Be Dreaming on them and other things. You guys were speechless and amazing on how creative we got and jonh ohh gave us a free shirt for making them! :D and then as we got in the car to leave he talk to my parents and said by to all of us and take care. it was so sweet! ill never forget that show :D

warped tour: was freakin hot! my friends left around 2 cause they couldn't handle the heat. and i stayed all by myself because i was waiting till 5 to see you guys. it was a little scary that i was all alone but i stayed under a tree that was by the stage yall were gonna play on just so i wouldn't die in the heat before i saw yall. it was all worth it because i got front row and took some really good picture of the band. :)

the OP tour: the whole line up was just amazing! and after the show we went to meet yall once agian. i went up to you and asked if you could sign my daisy hand bag and you drew me a cat that looked like a turtle and named him michael lol it was the cutest thing ever! then you showed us a picture of yourself as a girl on halloween and you didn't look too bad! :) and then we were talkin to kennedy and out of nowhere Rat Boy goes under kennedy and bites him in the butt it was super funny ill never forget that! hahah :D

i know for a fact that An Evening With The Maine is going to be ahhh-maing! im so excited to hear new songs and hang out with all of you! i might even cry cause im sooo proud of how far this band has got. im gonna have to frame my ticket.!! :D i love yall!!

only 11 more days till yall come to houston! :D
cant wait to party! <3

twice :)

The first time i ever saw you guys was on the OP tour and honestly i had no idea who you guy's were but since then i have been obsessed with your music and couuldn't wait to see you guys again. so i went to your headling tour in IL even thoiugh i live in WI.....( we thought we had a better chance of meeting you at six flags) and we did!! you guys are now my all time favorite band :)
sooo thank you!

LAST NIGHT WAS AMAZING!!!! :D

I went to your concert in Philly last night and it was the best night of my life :D it was a great first show by you guys. We weren't allowed to take pictures with you guys, which was kinda upsetting, but still meeting you was incredible! I was literally shaking after I talked to you, Jared, Kennedy, John, and Garrett. We were going to bring you a cupcake but our plans didn't work out as we planned :( sorry

but thank you SOOOO MUCH for the amazing show :)

I've got a video of your crazy drumming during the last Austin Gibbs song. I'm not sure how it turned out cause I haven't watched it yet, but I hope it turned out good :)

I love you Pat! I hope you come back to Philly for your Fall tour. Promise me that you WON'T bring Justin Bieber :(

grog shop!

it was may of 2008 at the grog shop by cleveland. It was my first time seeing you guys and i was super excited. You were opening for forever the sickest kids and metro station. The place was full and extremly cramped. As soon as you went on the place was crazy. I was up by the stage and since ther was no bararcade everyone was on top of each other and my legs were up against the stage, it was extremly painful, but worth it. My friend actually ended up beneath everyone. You sang all the songs from the way we talk ep and the crowd was jumpin! Afterwards i met you guys.and you were so young! it was the best concert i ever been to though thanks for the memories :D

tonight! aug. 5th!

I've seen you guy so many times and i'm so beat from tonight's show to count them but i saw this and figured i haveee to tell you that tonight was by far the best i've seen you live! you're all so beautiful! and pat, i'm sorry for being too happy to really talk to you xD i missed you! and i wasn't sure what to say because once i saw you i wanted to cry ahahahahah i made a fool of myself, but i'll see you this fall and try to make up for it! But anyway, tonight was by far the greatest time! :) I was happy to finally meet dirk and tim. Plus, your stage performance was phenomonal!

Can't wait to here more about the falll tour! <3

favorite moment!

so i've seen you guys 3 times. first time was at warped tour 09 in SF. it was the first time i ever saw you guys live and it was by far the best moment probably because i was so excited and it took so much convincing to my parents to let me go. and the fact that john was so willing to take pictures and sign everthing for ever person waiting to meet him. he didnt seemed annoyed or tired that there was a ridiculous amount of fans surrounding him. the second time i say you guys was octover of 09 when you were on tour with boys like girls in SF. such a good concert. i jusmped up and down and defintely lost my voice screaming when you all came on to perform. and lastly i say you this past July at your first tour day at slims in SF. that concert was amazing because you all looked so proud that there was so many people out there to see you and the fact that we were all to support you all on the amazing journey you guys are going on! much love and enjoy the rest of your tour!! you guys surely deserve every moment of it.

Grand total of...

Three glorious times with All Time Low, AP Tour, and of course this headlining tour. :)

My favorite moment with you guys was when my friend and I met you at Wet Seal on tour with All Time Low. We were like one of the first people to meet you guys, and we gave you guys lunchboxes. We decorated the outside with all of your names, pictures, and The Maine and "Can't Stop Won't Stop Rocking!" We filled them with each of your favorite candy, silly string, a tiny water gun, and a tiny little ninja. All of you were so nice and said thanks. :) We got to take pictures with you all and kinda talk. But the best part was seeing Garrett looking in the lunchboxes while they were setting up for the acoustic performance, and then later seeing him at the concert before hand playing with the water gun. :)

Another favorite moment without you guys being there, was when I won the signed snare drum from Substream Magazine. :D However, I never got the phone call from you guys (which was a bummer, by the way..) I will always have that drum. I nearly had a heart attack when I found out I won it. haha :)

Can't wait to see you guys again. :)

Well I have seen the Maine 5

Well I have seen the Maine 5 times and each time was just a unique and great experience.
The first time I saw you guys was on Easter 09 for the AP tour. It was our first ever concert. We were so dumb people probably really hated us. Hahaha. This concert helped me find my love for ARTTM and passion for music.
Then I saw you at Warped 09 and I met everyone during the signing but i was really quiet and just smiled creepily like a little freak. Hahaha. Before you played I saw you guys do the we like to party thing and I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world. Hahaha.
Then I saw you at OP tour at the Rave. This was a really great concert and I remember when you played Into Your Arms and johno said makeout with the person next to you and these crazy girls started grinding and making out with eachother. Weird experience. Hahaha. And I remember seeing Garrett standing next to the stage behind a fence and I asked him for a picture and he was nice to me and took one with me. A few minutes later my friend asked for a picture and he ignored her and walked away. Oh that was hilarious. Then my friend bought the coolest ARTTM shirt and someone stole it from her so after the show she tried to convince you, Pat, to buy her a new one. You were oh so close to taking her in to buy her one but then you found out it was a ARTTM shirt and not a Maine shirt. Hahahahaha. She really hates herself for telling you it was an ARTTM shirt.
Then I saw you again a few days ago at the Rave and it was the sweatiest and greatest concert in the whole world. It was a really infinite moment.
Then I saw you at six flags. I ballroomed danced with my friend at the very top and I swear johno noticed us. hahaha. Sorry for this long speil. There were just so many good memories that happened at your shows.

well...

I've seen yall 11 times.
met you guys 10 of that 11.
hmmm favorite experience has to be the last one, I was in Cleveland and I'm from Michigan. It was the end of my 3 day road trip and I was trying to make it the best it could be. Crowd surfed, sang every word as loud as I could and made a fool of myself. best thing ever. and I ran out of stuff for you guys to sign so I had you sign a part of my car haha desperate much? anyways, the energy on this tour was amazing and even if I was running off of about 4 hours of sleep and drove for 5 or more hours straight I couldn't help myself from dancing and singing. Epic as hell and can't wait to see you again.

Best The Maine Concert Experence.?

So you were my first concert ever to go to, and i just saw you guys 2-3-4 weeks ago on the 24th Of July,
i was very happy to see you guys, i had never been to any concert before and you guys are my favorite band,
Ihave been listiining to you eversince you released you "The way we talk EP" in about 07`?
Yeah ;]
Well, you guys are amazing and i think your so rad and all, and the whole concert was amazing,
i have only been to one concert in my life, and it was yours on 7/24/10<3 i have been lisining to you since 07' ish, :]

I tripped...

So until this year I was never able to see you guys, but I've seen two shows on this tour. :] I went at The Rave in Milwaukee on the 18th, and then again at Six Flags in Gurnee two days later. When my friend and I met you guys at the meet & greet at The Rave I totally tripped in front of you, Pat. It was pretty much the most embarassing moment of my life so far, so thanks for being sweet about it. :] My same friend and I then won a photo contest for Six Flags and got to meet you there too! So, thank you for making this my best summer ever! :] Wow I used a lot of smiley faces in this. haha.

i've seen you guys 3 times

i've seen you guys 3 times now.
the best show was the 2009 ap tour because it was my first show and it was the best performance i've seen from you guys! it was amazing :D

I've seen you guys

five times. But, my favorite time to see you was on the OP tour because it was the first time to meet all of you at once. It was also the day my phone decided it wanted to become an internet phone and started freaking out. Every single one of you tried to fix it which was really cool and I'll never forget how sweet you all were.

I can't wait for five to become more!

I think I beat everyone......

I've seen you guysss... Hm, wow. A total of..... once.... Haha, actually, you guys were my first concert! AH! You popped my concert cherry! It was great ;)
Anywho! I went to the Pontiac show, and the highlight of the night was definitely your reaction when I told you that I loved your teeth. I don't know why I said it... I guess I was nervous? Hopefully I'll be able to see you again and not say anything retarded. :p

4 times :)

sooo funny moments... last year at warped me and my friends were waiting next to those lemonade stand things and (we brought this german exchange student with us) and he was thirsty and so me and my other friend were just talking then i look and see a guy that looked exactly like you waiting in front of my german friend then i see him tap "your look alike" on the shoulder and ask him something...then as that guy walked away i realized it was you and told my friend who is a big fan and we freaked out that you walked away and our german friend was like what the fuck are you freaking out about.

then at this tour i saw you at the SF show...i think the best part was when you saw my "you're just a cupcake lover" flip cam and when i gave Garrett his zombie iphone cover and he put it on his phone...then when we tried to show you this green animal scrapbook we gave you guys with the "M" spray painted in white on the back...i really hope you guys got to look through the book because security kicked us out so we couldnt look with you guys and we had to run back to my car because stupid parking...my car was going to get towed (i got my first parking ticket but it was worth meeting you guys)

6 times(:

I've seen yall 6 times and every time has been awesome, but my favorite I think was when yall played AP Tour that was the first time I met you guys, and you all were so sweet and friendly, I was introduced to Rocket because Nick came up to me and my friends to ask if we knew what time he played lol and I've been in love them ever since. But I still call that day one of my favorite days ever just because the whole experience was so much fun and I loved it! So promise me you'll never have so many Six Flags shows in Texas again because the only dates I could go to were San Antonio and Dallas, and they still were awesome, but I wish I could've hung after the show :(

it'll be 3 (:

the best time i've had with you guys, best moment, is being able to meet you, see you play live, and talk to you in the chat.
I've had the privilage of having legit conversation with you and Kennedy each. It's been amazing. And then the concerts are just AMAZING. I have a feeling sunday is going to be my favorite.
the best thing you've ever said to me? "I WILL KILL YOUR MOTHER" omg i died. it was so jkahdjksh i love you kirch. lololol.
i like bugging you about it too...so you know who i am each time(:

Once!!!

I've Only saw you guys Last thursday!! it was one of the best days of my life!! I can't wait for you guys to come back to Toronto<3

2 times for now!

I have seen you guys live twice as of right now, but come Monday it will be 4! I'm going to the Six Flags show tomorrow and then the Foxboro show Sunday. Pumped!

The first time I ever saw you guys play was at Bamboozle New Jersey in May. It was the perfect day. My friend and I were numbers 147 and 148 of 150 people to get into your signing before the show. We really didn't think we were going to get in, so that moment of joy when we got the pass to get in is probably one of, if not my favorite, moment from that day!

The second time I saw you guys was with that same friend a week later in Syracuse, NY. We left school early to get in the pit for the performance, and skipped out before We The Kings played to try and meet you all. We got to meet John, Jared, and you! It was amazing to be able to talk to you 3 and get pictures. We also became friends with someone we met in line before the show. I guess that's not really a moment but that whole night was my favorite. One of the best shows I've been to.

Never.

I've never seen you guys live before, but march the 7th of 2011. That will change for me! ;')

seattle show

i have seen u guys once before this but it wasnt a headliner. to be honest and im not saying this lightly, it was literally the best night of my life. BEST. and i say that because i cant name a night that i remember that beats it. i felt so comfortable in the atmosphere that i was in. you guys made my "evening with the maine" perfect. you guys mean so much to me and are my inspirations in life. i got to have actual conversations with this century and austin gibbs and i was in the very front the whole time rocking out. i even got johns pick. let me tell you i will never be using a different pick ever. if i could change one thing i would of wanted to talk to you GUYS much longer cause i literally felt like i was being pushed put the door by the security guard. i had so much to thank you guys for and so many questions to ask you. NEXT time. i dont know if u remember but i showed u guys a design for a set of shirts i said i had made but they didnt come in time. wellllll a girl named carly will be giving them to you tonight at the tla show with a letter. i really hope u guys like them, have a great show! and thank you guys for everything so much.

3 timess <3

Ive seen you guys 3 times live over the past 3 years. its been amazing watching you guys grow over the years and i cant wait to see even more growth! my favorite memory of the maine would be the first time i listened to the Way We Talk EP. They lyrics in all of the songs were amazing and at that time, there werent as many bands that could connect to what was going on in my life. Cant wait to see you guys your headlining tour!

TEXASSSS :]

soo ive seen you guys a few times when youve been to DALLAS, TEXAS! like on halloween, i was in the pittt and that was probably the most fun night ever, the OP tour was BALLERRR. and i also went to the recent show in six flags over texas in arlington! and that was sooooo greeaaat! i wish i could go again! the best moment of that, was when all of you guys pointed at our posters that had the phrases tattooed on johns chest. ohyeah, it was sooooo crazy to be pointed out by all of the band members!! that was definetly the greatest moment! also, ive never met you guys, but i have definetly dreamed of it! hopefully i will soon!

<33333

I have seen you guys 3 times, only because... I live in Ohio and yeah.. enough said. But anyways, I'd have to say my favorite moment with you guys in last friday in Cleveland during your "An Evening With the Maine" tour. It was simply amazing to see you guys play close to 20 songs and to be able to sing along to every single one of them. Then being able to meet you guys definitely made my life so far, it was totally worth the hour and a half wait. I apologize for not being able to say anything except "thank you" and "i love you", but that pretty much sums it up. I can't wait to see you guys again (hopefully soon?). Northeast Ohio loves you :)

My friends and I have been to

My friends and I have been to a total of 9 of your shows. We live in the Chicago area and have been to all of the ones around here beginning with the show you guy had with boys like girls and good Charlotte. I'm not sure we could pick just one moment that stands out because every show we have been to has been an amazing experience. It's really great to be a fan of such a great band that creates music because it's something you guys love to do and it really shows in your music and dedication to your fans. The best memories from your shows are definitely the times when we have been able to talk and meet you guys and really have a conversation, we've seen you play at bigger places like the house of blues and warped tour and smaller places like mojoes rock house and we have always felt that you guys truly are happy with what you are doing and putting on a great show for your fans so thanks you guys for all the great memories these past 3 years

favorite moment

ok let me start by saying i have been on every tour you guys have done ever since you opened for all time low in 2008. My favorite memory with you guys was at bamboozle 2009- this is where i got to meet you guys and you played in the rain! it was soo much fun! i love you guys good job at six flags on monday <3 come back soon
love becca

wudddduuup pontiac michigan ;)

i've seen you guys a few times, but i would HAVE to say that my favourite moment with you guys was last week, in pontiac michigan when i showed you guys my "CSWS" tattoo.
I remember the day i got that tattoo, the first thing that popped into my mind was "holy shit, i can't wait to show the maine" The 5 month wait was so worth it.
It made me feel sooooooooo fucking GOOD to see that you guys were so stoked on my tattoo, your facial expressions were priceless...especially Kenny and John's :)
John yelled at me... haha.
I couldn't have asked for a better response.
OH AND after the show, having a dance party with kennedy, making jared fist pump...ya know...the usual ;)
CAN I JUST SAY (kinda off topic but oh well)...please take this into consideration...
i spent my whole night last night watching all of the maine's old videos from 2008/2009, i miss when you guys used to make stupid/hilarious videos!
Can you please start making those again?
Sure the artsy videos are cool too, but i miss the old videos.

I love you guys to death.
Stay Gold.

Hmm... the first time I saw

Hmm... the first time I saw you guys was back in May of '08, and it was just Jared, Kenny, and John acoustic. But it was really amazing. That show will always stick with me for a few reasons. One, I stood out in the rain for four hours without an umbrella and missed my last day of school, two, after the acoustic set, John was just chilling by the merch tables, and I walked up to him with every intention of saying hi and getting a picture, but instead I just stood there dripping water on the floor while he looked at me. And then I ran away. Also, that day kind of changed a lot for me, because I started being really happy all the time, and that summer was just so good. It's hard to describe, but that show really changed who I am.
The second (and last) time I saw you guys was July of '09 on Warped, and I made a spider man notebook with John's face on it and got it signed and... yeah, it was kind of an inside joke between a bunch of friends, but it was really funny seeing everyone's reaction to it. Also, I actually got to meet you and Garrett for the first time that day, so it was really special.

jersey girls

My sister and I have seen you guys a total of 5 times, which is pretty good considering we live on the other side of the country from you :) The most recent was for my 21st birthday on Aug 2 at Six Flags. The show was amazing & the perfect way to spend my birthday, with my favorite band :) I think I'd have to say my favorite show was on Nov 20, 2010 at Starland Ballroom where I met all of you guys & actually got to talk to you for a little & not be rushed by security. I enjoy every show I attend that you're playing & I always find a way to see you whenever you're in Jersey! Thank you for always putting on amazing shows & still taking the time to hang out :)

Chelsey

Altoona, Pa

Well, I saw you guys for the first time back in March of 2008 at a little place called Jaggard in Altoona, Pa. It was one of the best nights of my life. It was the first time I actually got the chance to meet and hang out with a band that I love. I told my 3 friends that I was there with that night that I wasn't leaving until I met all of you. So, we hung around until we were about the last ones to leave, got pictures and autographs from all of you. There's no way I could have even imagined that night to have been any better than it was. That night made me realize that discovering The Maine was one of the best things that has happened to me.
Unfortunately, I've only had the opportunity to see you guys play once since then but trust me, that makes me no less of a fan.
Love you guys. :)

ive seen you guys 4 times so

ive seen you guys 4 times so far hopefully going on 5 soon! i wish i could see an evening with the maine tour but its not coming to buffalo :/ my favorite show has to be the first date of the op tour on october 14th with arttm and blg.. the crowd was so energetic for you it made the show that much better! loved meeting you all and getting pictures after the show as well! keep up all the hard work :) pat, you and the guys deserve all the best and always make a point to hangout and talk to the fans it means a lot <3

5x

1st concert i saw you was at 6flags with BLG, GC, and MS. Aug 21st. I remb. sitting all the way at the end because it was hot. And i was the only one standing up and singing your songs. (i felt so out of place). It was a great time.

2nd time i saw you was for one of my birthdays Nov. 28th. with ATL, MP, EA. at the Starland Ballroom I stood in the back again. Singing all the songs with you guys, while my friend was puking. That day i hugged Pat after the security guards kept yelling at him to leave. I left with even a bigger smile that day :)

3rd time i saw you guys was on Warped Tour. July 18th. You guys played super early. My friends and i had to run to your stage (prob. missed a song). This show is prob. my favorite. I remember my friend Mike jumping up and down. saying John John i love you. And John answered him back by asking his name and saying whats up. Then after the show. we stood at the gates where the bands walk in and out. And surprisingly your bus was right at the gate. We saw each and everyone of you step out. And Mike did his jump up and down. trying to get John to come talk to us. Because he knew how much i love you guys. But you went to eat. It was an awesome day. I met Jarred that day too all i could say was i love you. (so embarrassing) i prob. seamed like a crazy obsessive fan. I also met pat again. And all that came out of my mouth was Can i take a picture with you.

4th time i saw you was again at the Starland Ballroom with BLG, CS, ARTTM. Nov. 20 and im proud. to say was the first time i crowd surfed. I remembered getting on my friends shoulder to get one of yours attention. and i got Johns :) What a wonderfull day.

5th time i saw you was again at six flags. August 2nd. Another one of my favorites just because you played soo many songs. and it was your first headliner. A memorable day.

I tried doing the whole whenever The Maine comes to new jersey im going to see them live.
But nope. i didnt see you the 2years you went to Bamboozle, just because i didnt have rides. Or the second day in Starland Ballroom with Boys Like Girls. Because it was the day b4 or after Thanksgiving....Its not the end of the world though :)

You guys deff. need to come back to Jersey... so maybe this time i can meet all of you.

-Bri

Dear Pat,

My favorite memory would have to be August 15, 2008 the Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour in Lowell Massachusetts. Before the concert I was not familiar with the Maine, but as soon as you guys started playing I knew that this would be a band that I would follow for sometime. At the end of the night I couldn't get your songs out of my head and the next day I bought Can't Stop, Won't Stop. I love your music and your live shows are incredible. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to An Evening with The Maine, which is really upsetting cause i know it will be amazing. Hopefully i can catch you guys the next time you come to the northeast, which is soon i hope. -Love Nicole

Yeaaa.

There are some people who are waiting for you, and we'd love to see you all, and not to be traveling a lot to know you. :(

Da yeear of 2008

The first time i saw you guys play was at a little place called macs bar on 5/11/08.
hahah :D
my favorite memory was having Kennedy sign my Last Call for Camden picture :D
I also saw you guys at the eagle theater on July 28th recently.
Ohh and I've seen you a total of 6 times :D
