Pioneer Tour 11-22-11
Last night was a very good night.
The Pioneer tour blew me away. It was a sold out show and it definitely deserved to be. The Maine’s first set was very impressive to me. It’s very rare that people enjoy hearing a bands new songs when they don’t know the words but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was fascinated at the sound change from this album to the first two. You could tell the whole band grew as musicians and songwriters, especially Jared. Jared’s guitar parts on a few of the songs were so great that I wish he was turned up even louder. The whole new album showed a much more maturity in their music. I was easily impressed and couldn’t help but melt into the music.
During the intermission they played The Maine’s Mockumentary which was a crack up if you understand some things about the band. I enjoyed it because it shows that they can be mature musicians and still not take themselves too seriously.
Set two was the songs everybody (for the most part) knew. I get chills when you can just hear a crowd sing the songs as loud as you can you know a band has to be proud of that. They played a short little cover of Ryan Adams - Two which is a beautiful song as is and thankfully they played it well. They played Ho Ho Hopefully and John forgot the words which just had to make you laugh. They played two amazing sets.
After the show was over a line was created outside for a meet and greet. After waiting in this line for over an hour we finally made it into the venue. The order of the meet and greet was Pat, Garrett, Kennedy, John, and Jared. After Pat signed my poster I had to give Garrett the present I had brought him. This present included a Ryan Adams bootleg live album, 4 Classic Rock Mixes, and a shiny bag to keep it in. He seemed super stoked about it which made me really excited, excited enough to not hear Kennedy say he thought my shirt was awesome. (Neil Young w/ Crazy Horse shirt) I went on to explain to him my fathers Rock ‘N’ Roll collection then finished the meet and greet line with John and Jared also complimenting my shirt.
Sadly the great night came to an end but at least it came to an end at Dennys with my best friend :)

supra shoes
He did not Supra Shoes look at the ladies as he spoke, but his voice was perplexed Supra Skytop and sorrowful. Lucy, too, was perplexed; but Supra Footwear she saw that they were in for what is known as "quite a scene," and she had an odd feeling Supra TK that whenever these ill-bred tourists spoke the contest widened and deepened till Supra TK Society it dealt, not with rooms and views, but with--well, with something quite different, Supra Sale whose existence she had not realized before.
