OMG. I went to the Maine concert last night. In Toronto And there is NO WORD to describe how awesome it was. I'm serious. This was my FIRST concert and I got the tickets like, the first day they were on sale. I couldn't believe they were coming! I went with a really good friend and we were just SOOO excited. The Maine didn't get on until 9, and my friend was getting impatient, and my feet were hurting... A LOT. But when they came out, all the pain disappeared. Everyone was screaming "The Maine! The Maine!" I was screaming and just going crazy! I made a sign, but I didn't get to hold it up during the ENTIRE show because people behind me couldn't see... But, I swear, I saw John look over my way. John, please tell me you saw the sign! It said "Can't Stop, Won't Stop, Lovin' The Maine" They started off with a song I didn't recognize, BUT when they started playing "Listen to Your Heart" I went nuts! I love that song! Later, when they started playing "Into Your Arms" my heart just...

Hey guys, so I'm seeing the Maine in two days. I'm really excited, not only to see them, also because I'm going to be with my best friends. :) I hope I get the chance to meet them again like the first time. My friends and I made a booklet thing for them that has a letter from each one of us and a couple pictures. We hope they enjoy it and keep it. :) Okay, I'm going now. BUHBYE! <333

Self Piece: Place of Positivity, Escape From Reality feat. lyrics from Color

For my Mixed Media course, we were asked to create two pieces; one displaying a positive space of influence and one a negative. My space is the idea of escaping reality. I used the idea of masks as the escape. There's three masks: one for music, concerts, and singing; one for reading and writing; and one for art. The girl in the picture is black and white. When she wears the masks, she finds color in the world. This was of course inspired by the lyrics from Color.

ahhh yess, finally after 3 years of attending concerts of THE MAINE, i finally got the greatest half an hour of my life, when i met them tonight!! they are seriously the nicest guys in this entire world and i love that they talk with all of their fans! that makes me appreciate their music SOO MUCH more (as if thats even possible!) but yes, it was incredibly great, and everything i ever thought it would be like if i got the chance to meet them. they are "everything i ask for" hahahah :)
i know a bunch of people have met them numberous times, but its still so amazing to me that i finally got to! today is definetly the greatest day, and they had a fantastic show tonight! though, unfortunatly, they did not play the ending to "we'll all be", thats okay! it was soooo awesome that all the guys remembered and recognized our posters! we brought the same ones that we had when we saw them in july, and pat and kennedy remembered them!! it definetly made my night ALLL THATTTT much better!
