Depressed? WHAT?

I was reading off of a site I found all about the maine, and some people were saying he looks upset or depressed about something?
He has a great girlfriend Rachel, and I really don't see why he should be upset.
Some people said he gets depressed and thats why he's a jerk or an 'asshole' to fans.
He is not!
But some people say he had a bad childhood or something?
What am i missing?

ummm when i met garret and
ummm when i met garret and all the videos ive seen of him he never seems depressed or angry at or about anything.
i think the sites a bit confused maybe.
idkk when i think garret the word depressed definetly doesnt come to mind.

Garretts not really an ass he's actually really nice
Maybe if your over bearing and ask too much of him...like this one girl who was like garrett sign this garrett take a picture garrett garrett heres this garrrett garrett garrett! If you annoy him too much he gets mad but other than that he's a happy boy. So if you think he's mean he's not he just gets a little upset sometimes.

I'm sure he just gets annoyed, and being away from home probably doesn't help, he just said on buzznet how being home after warped tour made him so much happier, I bet he gets homesick, I know I would.

When i met him he was supper nice. Maybe he has his off days, because when i met him he seemed really happy.

i have days when im not the nicest person in the world.
people shouldnt judge just off one experience.
i know the first time i saw the maine, on their first tour, my friends thought garrett was kinda a jerk but i think he was just quiet and a bit shy.
so i dont think hes a jerk either, hes always been pretty nice to me.

Mhm - everyone has rough patches in their lives. One of his blog posts made me really worried though. But when I talked to him at Warped this summer he was super nice :P
(and to the person who started this - I think you should keep it hush hush that we all know about their girlfriends. since we aren't supposed to)

You're not always happy just
You're not always happy just because you have a significant other. And I'm sure it's tough when you have one to be touring the country and not seeing them in weeks, or months for that matter. But I think we should respect his privacy - whether he is upset/depressed or not.

lol garrett is super nice , even when i said that his hair looked like edward cullen , it just happened to be puffy that day . lol . honestly they are all nice but not everybody is in a good mood all the freekin time :] ive met them twice and i wouldnt chande a thing about those boys

i dont know her personally or
i dont know her personally or a lot about her but i think its freaking precious that theyve been together for so long (even if it was on and off for a bit) its nice to know when band members before they are "famous" because you dont have to worry about attention whore band sluts.

Garrett is not an ****, he
Garrett is not an asshole, he just has his off days just like every other normal human being. Not everyone is super nice every day... When I met him, he was really sweet and I made him a bracelet with a nickname I gave him and he absolutely loved it. He was cool, and gave me a hug and treated me like a friend and not just a fan. That's what I love about him. :)

first of all, i thought it
first of all, i thought it said "desperate", not "depressed". wow. i can't read...lol.
anyways, whoever says garrett is an ass to his fans is completely wrong. after one of the shows, me and my friends and a friend's roommate (first time i met her--and last. thank goodness.) went to talk, get photos/autographs with the guys. when we got to garrett, he was so sweet. he went to sign our shirts i made for the concert, and when he went to sign the roommate's, she hesitated and then basically snubbed him in front of everyone. (because he wasn't "good looking" cuz he was wearing his glasses and bear hat-thing---i don't know what she was smoking...) but garrett was so awesome about it and just joked around about it, and acted very sweet in comparsion to my friend's roommate. (seriously, i was so embarassed to be affliated with her. she was completely rude.) [no more concerts with her. ever. i promise.]
so yeah, garrett is extremely amazing. end of story:)

Garrett isn't an asshole he is very swweet and if hes an ass y does he upload videos all the time for his fans to check out why does he even bother and do everything for his fans take pictures with them and sign auto graphs because hes sweet and kind and some people just don't appreciate that :/ I love him and most of us do thats why we all care about him not because of his looks or anything but because of his personality
