John, Kenny, and Garrett all gave me picks, then Pat gave me his drum stick, and I got their setlist :) They all signed the drum stick and the setlist. It was so amazing hahaha.

That is not soo cool, I mean why a table? I went to a M&G with Boys Like Girls and they were there standing and u could take pics, i mean we had to line up but we could get pics and signed stuff, I don't mean to compare, but placing a table is like a barrior to me as if we were getting too near... don't know, i mean i luv them! i know it's better to see them close than nothing, even if there is a table, but .... things change soo fast :(

Well, there's some differences I see between BLG's meet and greets and The Maine's. With BLG's, you did have to pay extra for it so it would suck if you couldn't get pictures and would really make the experience less than worth it, ya know? Also, with BLG's, there was a limited number of people, with The Maine, is for everyone in the venue and all the venues are like 700-800 capacity places and they've got to find a way to meet everyone some how. I'll admit, I love how they did things in the past, but when you have that many people, its kind of hard.

I agree with malybagolly. But I do understand if you've never met them or something, and you'd love a picture. But at the same time, just meeting them all the same is still a great experience.
I only got to meet John. It's really unfortunate I didn't get to meet everyone else, but there was no orgainized meet and greet, they were just walking around after the show. It was already really dark in the venue, so it was difficult for me to find anyone. I only ended up finding John and Tarcy from Artist Vs Poet. But John was a sweetheart when I met him. It was before the show, and he was next to the side of the venue talking to 3 girls already. I patiently waited until they left, because I didn't want to bother him or anything. When they left I approached him with my friend, and we talked for a few minutes. Then we got a picture together, and my friend who took it was like "Aaaah! The sun is blazing off you guys, the picture looks great!" And John was like, "Oh, we probably look like angels!" And we're like "You're an angel, John!" And he's like, "You guys are angels!" Then some other girls noticed him and were getting aggrivated we were talking to him for awhile, so we left and said we would see him inside. Then we got front row for the show, and there was no barracade. It was awesome. :) Best show of my life. Good luck to anyone who wants to meet them in the future!!

So, yesterday I met The Maine at Hot Topic in New Jersey. It was my first time seeing them at all because you know my mom is rather paranoid lol. I came from New York and we stood on line for like 2 hours and I got them to sign my ugly doll and got hugs from Pat, John and Kennedy :D I'm still in awe!!! <3 :D

i met the maine on friday :) i got hugs from all of them and they signed some stuff. i wanted john to sign the journal entry he did called Optimism in This is Real Life. john was the first i met and i felt so speechless (i've never met them) so i just handed him the paper and i'm like "...can you sign this?" and my mouth was probably hanging open too. then he smiled and said of course and when he looks at it he smiles and goes "can i draw on my face?!" and obivously i replied with just as much enthusiasm "yes you can!" hahaha. and he gave himself a mustache and goatee. and then we hugged :D
so i went down the line to meet them all and once i'm done with it, i start talking to my friend taylor and i realized i forgot to ask john to see the tattoo on his lip. so we're talking about it & kennedy overhears us, stops wht he's doing and looks up and goes "john's tattoo?" i turn around in shock and nod my head, "yeah!" and so there i am talking to kennedy brock, of his own choosing!!! then when we were done talking about the tattoo, he smiled and i smiled too and i don't know, i just liked that moment. hahaha. and so i go "john!" and he looks up and i'm like "can i see your tattoo?!!" and i pull my lip a little. he looked confused for a second (probably thinking wtf is she doing?) and then he laughed and pulled his lip down to show me. i just remember shouting "sweet!" and he laughed :)
ohhhh it was such a great night :D

I met them last night and
I met them last night and they were all so great! I saw Pat first and when he went to sign my CD, I said, "Pattykins!" and he goes, "What?" I said it again and he started laughing. It was so cute. He was so cute. Then I saw Kennedy, and I decided to give him the picture of them that I had drawn (it took six hours. Haha). And he goes, "This is so awesome!" and I went, "Thank you so much! It took me like six hours to draw!" and then he said, "I would think so, it's so good!" and I said, "Please don't lose it or throw it away! I worked so hard!" and he said, "I promise I won't! It's just so amazing!" Then he put it up and I said, "Thank you Kennedy!" Then I saw John - and by the way, I was caught in the pit during most of the show and nearly fainted because I couldn't breathe during the first two songs. John asks me, "So how are you? Did you have fun?" and I said, "I'm great and I had so much fun! I nearly suffocated in the crowd!" Jared overheard and looked at John and said, "What? That's crazy!" and John said, "Well you know what that means: You had lots of fun!" We both laughed and then I got Jared to sign my CD. Then I saw Garrett - who is like my soulmate (please don't make fun of me! I only say that because we both play bassXD). I went, "Hey Garrett!" and he goes, "Hey what's up?" and I said, "Nothing much.... Hey! You know I play bass too!" He looked up at me and smiled gloriously before saying, "Really? That's so awesome!" and I said, "I can play Count 'Em One, Two Three on bass!" He smiled again and told me he hoped I enjoyed the show. Then I had to leave. *sigh*.
Best. Day. Ever.

I met them last night for the third time and it was awesome :)
During the show they didn't have any ear monitors in so that they could hear the crowd and I was front row. I told John it was my birthday and he said happy birthday and dedicated "We All Roll Along" to me - which happens to be my favorite song.
Then later I walked up to him at the meet and greet and he said "It's nice to see you again!" haha. And he said happy birthday again, and then he let me get a picture with him even though we weren't really supposed to get pictures. The rest of the guys also said happy birthday. (:
