I'm pretty sure if the guys had facebooks and WOULD accept fans as friends one would see the link on their main page alongside the myspace, etc links.

John and all of the boys have a Facebook. I tried requesting John, but he didn't accept it so it's definitely not a fake. If it was a fake they would accept anyone.
