Is John as nice in person as he seems?

I've seen The Maine three times and I haven't gotten a chance to meet any of them yet. I think it would be really awesome to actually talk to John for alittle bit. He's a huge inspiration towards me. Anyway, I was wondering what was it like for anyone who has met him?

yeah, he's really nice. i talked to him for about 20 minutes last night at their concert and there were only about 5 other people around. He's just a normal guy, so talk to him like your friend. He's pretty good at making things not awkward though. haha

yes. i went to warped tour in Milwaukee and he stayed at the merch tent until everyone who wanted to meet him got the chance to (i got there about two hours after they played... it was like 8:00 and they were taking down the tent and he still stayed for everyone)... he was also really sick that day =[
everyone in the maine are REALLY nice people. they're super gracious and just really great people in general.

john is hands down one of the
john is hands down one of the nicest guys out there. ever single time i've met him, he's always staying out to meet every single one of his fans. and i mean every single one. on sunday he stayed out for 3 hours to meet everyone and he missed his only lunch to do so. not to mention he's super easy to talk to and he's not afraid to do anything you ask him to do. john's totally open-minded and supersuper nice.

If so, he was really nice then, even though there was a mob of girls that like covered the whole sidewalk...you'd think someone was dying, John signed for all of them. He did go eat though, haha. Becuase i was talking to him and was like I smell fries and he was like so do i! Then I said im starving...and he said that he just ate so the smell is making him want to puke xD
Overall, He is really nice and really does care for the fans.

Ok so let's put it this way. If you ever have the chance to have a legit convo with John, TAKE IT. He's so laid back, charming, polite, caring...
He's so genuine and it's a shame some people take advantage of it by throwing stuff in his face and being arrogant, so just be chill and you'll have memories to last a lifetime.

I've met him a few times too.
I've met him a few times too. He is super nice, and of course funny! The very first time i met him on the Virginia Secret Valentine tour date. When I was taking a pic of him and my friend, he was being funny and kept putting his face closer to the camera and i was like wtf and laughed lol. Then I met him again at warped in columbia, md and my friend got me to ask him what his fave kind of cookies were. It got a giggle out of him. And then when I went to another warped date in va beach the next week, I mentioned that I asked him about the cookies the last week and he was like "Oh yeaaah! hahaha" :) Super cool dude if I do say so myself!

i met all of the mainee multiple times and they are the nicest guys ever. you just have to bring up random stuff and they will keep talking , haha i love all of them and they usually always come out after shows

he's so nice! last night I was sitting in the hotel lobby with my friend cause we were too awake to go upstairs and go to bed and he walked into the hotel and he was on the phone with his mom and he kept like telling her to hold on so he could sign stuff and take pictures and ended up telling her he'd call her back...there were only like 10 people but still its his mom and he didn't even care that he was interrupted! and friday night he was sick but he still stayed outside in the freezing cold! love him!

I've met him a bunch of times and he's always been totally cool and genuine about things. I've never had a bad experience with him. Heck, I haven't had a bad experience with ANY of them they're all amazing dudes.

Definitely.
John is hands down the nicest person in the world that I have ever talked to in all my years of living. I've met him and talked to him on their chats, and I consider myself fortunate that I was able to have an extrememly lengthy, legit conversation with him. Like someone else said, if you have the opportunity to talk to him, make sure you take it =)

john oh is such a sweet heart. i met him at warped at their signing and i told him i saw them on my bday last year and he was like thats so rad or something like that then he wished me a happy early birthday. he told my friends n i to stay till the signing was over to get pictures but then they had to go eat and do an interview. he picked up the card i made for his birthday that my friends signed and we were all like thats our card! :] and he said something back to us. but i remember i asked him to see his lip tattoo and he was like WHAT? i said it again and pointed to my lip and he still didnt understand what i was saying and my friends even said she said lip tattoo and he lifted up his shirt and showed us this tattoo that says some people have real problems. ahaha
during my op show i threw a poster i made them on stage. he told me he loved me from the stage.

John is such a nice guy, he really cares for his fans and will try to meet every single one after every show! I met him before the OP Tour on 10/31/09 when they did the double tour with the Gk tour. And i had ATL m&g and him and Garrett walked by and we asked them to hang and they took pictures with us and chatted for 15 minutes or soo, they're all super sweet guys. I love them all! :)

Even if you can rarely talk to him with all them crazy fangirls (maybe that's just philly?) yeah, but I did talk to him at the last show; t'was a small show, thank god.

He said all of about 6 words to me. (we were rushed so I didn't have a real conversation with any of them) but he was seriously so sweet and he smiled as he talked.

I just met him Thursday night
I just met him Thursday night and he was so kind. He wondered how the show was and I told him that I had been thrown into the pit and that I had nearly suffocated. He said that he hoped I had fun despite of that and that means, "You must have had lots of fun!" Which I did.
When my friend met him, she told him about how her legs were hurting and that she was going to die at school the next day because there are two stories in are school. He wished her good luck and he said that he hoped it was worth going to the show to which she replied with a smiley, "Definately worth it!"
They are all so sweet and genuine:)
