has anyone heard if the maine is going to be on warped this summer? i didnt know if someone asked them at a show on the op tour. i was too preoccupied staring at john to ask.

me too! im anxious to find out. i know people said their going to be doing a headlining tour so i didnt know if they were going to do that instead of warped. but me & my friend are planning on going to five or six warpeds just to see the maine :) i hope they do!

not that it really concerns me, cuz i live in holland :"D but it'd be really awesome if they did (well it'd be less awesome for me because then it would mean they would NOT be coming to europe then.. anywayyyy. xd)
i am actually planning to go to warped tour once.. i don't think next year will do, but me and my friends are REALLY willing to go maybe in 2011?
i'd actually be going just to see the maine.. and like ALL the other bands. i'm so jealous of you all. mostly alll of my fave bands play at warped tour.
buttttt its like well. REALLY expensive to play the flight. and i don't think my parents will ever let me go
but i just HAVE to go. once in my life. i just have to. ;D

I'm soooo sad there are taking a break when I'm finally in the US =(
and the flight IS expensive, so I wont be flying to the US for the next years I guess =(
And if I'm seeing them in a few years, they've become bigger and cant stay out after shows and so on =(

Hey, at the Toronto date of the Op Tour, I was talking to Vito and I asked about their touring in the future, and he said that they won't be doing Warped again next summer, but will be doing something else!

I figured they won't be doing
I figured they won't be doing warped again. When you think about it, they're probably gonna start working on the new record after the holidays (I'm sure they've probably been writing and what not but no hardcore work yet) so I figure they'll probably be done by March (writing, recording and such) and we'll probably see something by April or May with a tour to follow. So I have a feeling this headlining tour may happen around the time of warped or at least have some overlapping dates in the beginning.
Personally, I'd rather see them at a headliner as opposed to warped. You definitely get more songs on a headliner then you would at warped and its just more convenient in that you don't have to run around trying to figure out when they're playing if you didn't see them walking the line (which I'm sure they'd still do).

yeah id rather them headline too. i just hope its during the summer so i can go to more shows which is why i was excited about warped since its during the summer. college tends to get in the way when concerts come around. haha

so i was on a chat pat did yesterday, and i dont know if you were on, but there was only like 35 girls cause he did it kind of secretly, as oppsed to the 3000 girls who chatted with jared and kennedy the night before. hahh. so there was a lot less typing and crazy girls, and time to ask good questions.
but so i asked what's new for 2010, and he said no warped.
BUT
there's going to be a headling tour and an album out towards the summer!
AH. i freaked out a bit lol.

and last year was my first warped, i went to indy, stlouis & chicago and now its seven months away and me and my friend always talk about it like its happening next week! youll have so much fun.

mee too. (well not the indy, stlous and chicago part) but last year was my first warped and my best friend and cant talk about anything else. we already have it all planned out!!! lol
but anyway... im kind of bummed that the maine wont be doing warped. actually, im really sad. but its ok, because i completely understand!! they will be working on a new album which is extremely exciting and then a possible headlining tour!!! YESSS!!!! im thrilled.

Line up was announced today, they're for sure not on it unless they get added later on which happens sometimes. But honestly, I'm not even gonna to to warped this year. I'm not really feeling the line up and its a trek for me to get to my show and no one really draws me in lol.

for being my first warped tour... i'm pretty excited for the line up! The only 2 bands that i desperately hoped would be coming to toronto were breathe carolina and the rocket summer, and they both are. yay! but theres also the cab, we the kings and nsn. ahh this is gunna be good :)

I hope Alexisonfire & Underoath are on it this year just like '09. and ESPECIALLLY All Time Low! I'll start crying if I see they end up being added xD. But yea, that'd be cool if they were on it this year because maybe they could get Aaron Gillespie,drummer of Underoath to play for them again like last summer.That'd be pretty kickass :)

so i know the maine announced they wouldnt be on warped tour...but still everyone will be going so i thought....maybe i could pull some fans together and help out another great band of mine. The Venetia Fair, a small band from the state of Massachusetts with music of an alternative twist will be on warped tour....idk if they will be playing any shows yet....but they will be there, so maybe you could meet them yourselves....

All Time Low Maybe?
I have heard that All Time Low might not be on Warped this year either but they might have a seperate tour. It would be awesome if The Maine was with ATL on their tour.
*I dont know if the whole atl tour thing is true bc it hasnt been confirmed or released yet,but maybe.

I have no idea,I hope they're on Warped 2010.. warpedtour.com said that details will come out sometime in December of which bands are playing & stuff so yea.Keep your eyes on that website..You probably wont need to though becuz once somebody finds out,they're gunna end up posting it on here xD ..
