If you did, how was it?
How early did you go to get barrier?

I got barrier for Pomona and me and my friends went 2 1/2 hours early and waited through bands, we actually waited on the side until the band before the maine went on then pushed through the crowd for barrier.

it's all good

haha It's all good...the barrier is literally just that. It's the railing between the crowd and the stage...and I was against it for the Columbia, MD show! =] I managed to fight my way through the Escape the Fate mosh pit [great band, scary fans] so I was against the barrier and pretty much had a death grip on the railing before the show[people were shoving like crazy and I didnt want to lose the tiny amount of space I had lol]. I was able to get so many amazing pictures and being at the barrier definitely made seeing The Maine again another totally awesome experience. =]

i did in pomona, gallows was

i did in pomona, gallows was playing before them and i knew that none of gallows fans would stick around, so when the transition was happening me and my friend just slid over.
but for ventura i didn't, but the show is great from any spot really.

In NY, I went in two bands

In NY, I went in two bands early. Got second row during the first one and when they ended I was barricade for the next band. But it was Bayside and Saosin so those fans really weren't gonna hang around for The Maine. I actually got up pretty easily. And in NJ, they played really early so my friends went straight to the stage (I had the VIP at that show so I watched the set from side stage).

well it wasnt really barrier,

well it wasnt really barrier, it was like 2nd/3rd row. they were playing after saosin, and i got there during saosins last song so i really wasnt early or anything. then this really tall asshole pushed himself to barrier and everyone was pissed.

why does a guy who's 6'3' need to be at the barrier? baffling, really. but the point is, it was fun bc everyone knew the words. it got a lil pushy but it wasnt bad at all. my friend got hit in the head by a couple crowd surfers, we were between kenny and john oh, closer to john.

i didn't get barrier, i

i didn't get barrier, i probably could've, but i didn't want to get hit in the head by any more crowd surfers lmfao, since i already got my fair share of that during ATL. but it wouldn't have been that hard, The Maine, 3OH!3, and Hit The Lights all played at the same time, so there weren't that many people at The Maine's set, 'cause most of them went to 3OH!3.

it will be my first time at

it will be my first time at warped, and seeing the maine, in 12 days. and im just wondering how crazy do the maine shows get? im under the impression they are pretty tame. no mosh pit rightt? im not too scared to do the mosh pit thing, but i just wanna be prepared. because the maine, atl, and other bands like those, are the sets that my friends and i really wanna watch for the full timee.

it really just depends. WHO KNOWS what could happen, hah. at my warped date there were a couple crowd surfers mainy just because most of the people in the crowd didn't know who they were. at their past shows that i attended there have been huge mosh pits, no mosh pits at all. it just changes, it depends on who is at the show. just be prepared for whatever comes your way.

i got barrier for the va beach show. i waited for escape the fate to finish.. im not a big fan of them but i like some of their stuff. scary moshing going on though. but i made it until the end and then i was up front for the maine (they were last of the night). i felt so accomplished. haha. and then it was pretty sick when kennedy gave me his tour water. :)

almost

I was close to the front at the Columbia, Md show, but I was right behind the people on the barrier at the VA beach show. At columbia, md, we arrived during escape the fate and got near the middlish and worked our way in a little for the maine. For va beach, we got there during alexisonfire and made our way up front and watched escape the fate, then stuck around for the maine.

I'm not sure if this is

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're talking about, but for The Maine, me and my friends got to stand in front of the audience, right at the stage where the security guards stand. It was the most amazing thing ever! <3
I got to stand there because I had VIP wristbands from Music Saves Lives!
:D

funny story

so when i was at warped the maine was playing at the hurley stage. But didnt know that the hurley and the hurley.com stage were completely different stages. So the hurley.com stage was the first stage i saw and i thought that was where the maine was playing. since we were 45 minutes early we were able to get to the very front or 'barrier' and we were like "yes we got front row for the maine!!" but then we aske the worker on the front if the maine was playing soon...and he looked at his scedule and was like "ummm the maine isnt playing here....meg and dia are" sooo we were like ohhh crap and bolted to the Hurley stage and made it just in time for the show to start....god if i would have missed the maine for f-ing Meg and Dia i would have beeen so pissed.....i mean the maine vs. meg and dia......

I actually got a VIP pass and I got to be on the stage with The Maine during their set.
best time of lifee. <333

if I wouldn't have gotten them, I would have been totally screwed because I didn't know about the two different Hurley stages and I would have gone to the hurley.com stage and not seen them! thank god for the employees and how helpful they are. :)
